Our Mission
The mission of the Limb savers society is to provide education, advocacy, and support research to help prevent unnecessary amputations in our community by promoting multidisciplinary team based treatment for patients with peripheral artery disease, critical limb ischemia and, non healing wounds.

We will work to educate physicians, providers, and the community at large on the options that are available for limb preservation and amputation prevention. We will provide high level advocacy to patients needing guidance and resources to obtain the best treatment and outcomes for prevention of unnecessary amputations.
We believe in a future where unnecessary amputations are preventable, and every individual has the opportunity to embrace a life with all limbs preserved, thereby contributing to a healthier and more inclusive world.

Patient Challenges
Patients affected by Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) are very complex patients to treat because their disease is multi-factorial. Yes, some have other comorbidities that compromise their arterial blood flow and contribute to their symptoms, and we as medical professionals can address those. But other patients have social-economical problems that bars them from seeking treatment, until it’s too late…
